im new to halo xbox modding.im used to pc.can someone tell me how to install this thing?

actually i didnt install jack shiz yet.i just see the page with it and it says like coagulation stuff or wahtever.see im new to xbox modding.i just softmodded my xbox and when i get hacked games im used to having them full,not draging and dropping them onto an already stored game.

In this order when you are FTP'ing.

F/E drive. (depending on if you put a bigger hdd. I'm guessing E)

---Maps

Upload the map to this folder. Replace the original coagulation you had with the one you downloaded or rename your original map to something like coagulation1.map. Just make sure when you are done ftp'ing the map, the 3volved map is named "coagulation.map" without the quotes.

so halo 3volved is just one map?

im loking for how to do the ENTIRE halo 3volved

I found the download for the Coagulation version they did. I think they released more but i'm not sure where to find those at. You can always extract the meta's yourself, or...now that I think about it, most of the tags were released awhile after the map was. Either way, you could inject the tags into the maps you want and make the proper edits yourself.

Just a thought...

Well, you would open open the map that has the Spartan Laser on it in Entity, you would go down to the "weap" (Weapon) tag and find the Spartan Laser. You would save the tag to a folder and make sure you have Recursive, Parsed, and Sounds checked off. Then open up zanzibar.map, check the three boxes, click the "Build" button, go to your folder where you saved it, and click on the info file.

ah i see!!!!you make it so clearer now!!!alright just ONE last question.is there anyway that i can put this on my halo 2 disk or do i have to have it backed up onto my hdd?

Glad to hear that you understand it. You have to have Halo 2 on your Xbox's hard-drive because it is not possible to overwrite files on the disk. You could burn another Halo 2 disk, but using the hard-drive is MUCH easier.
