Halo 3 ping filter

I don't want to know what your brother, uncle, cat or hamster told you about H3 having a ping filter I want fact, because If H3 has a ping filter I'm going to wait to buy a 360 (because I don't think that a ping filter issue will survive for ever) (not implying or endorsing, just my thoughts) I'll just borrow one for a bit, I have real issues with the live experience, the stats and such are amazing but (this is just my opinion) even with all the cheats on xbc the community feeling is far better, yes there's lag issues with xbc and some hosts just shouldn't host (-512KBers) but when I join my German 100MB upload server buddy (MeClan you rule dude) the game runs sweeter than live
Any way this post is not about which you prefair XBC XBL or XBK its about a filter that could bring global hosting of mods to a standstill
*CONFIRMED FROM ENGLISH H3 XBC PLAYERS*
*IT NEEDS TO BE BELOW 30ms TO WORK
*ABOVE 30ms BUT BELOW 50ms CAN SEE THE HOSTED GAME BUT CAN'T JOIN*
*ABOVE 50ms YOU CANT SEE THE GAME*

There is no such thing as a host in Halo 3 match making anyway since Bungie has shifted toward dedicated servers for Match made games.

Though, some people have trouble with getting system link to work over XBC/Xlink...Yet, other's do...I wonder how that works if they all have the filter on their 360.

Dude wtf are u talking about how would a ping filter affect mods first of all and secondly i hope there is a ping filter, i dont want laggy games or ppl with bad pings joining my games, on xbl, xlk, or xbc. if you have a bad internet and/or cant get good high speed internet then too bad, thats how it works.

The ping philter means that a in system link (local network) is over 30ms than you cannot play on syslink; it's not a question about good or bad connection, microsoft did it so everyone get xbox live instead of XBC or Xlink

I hate when people speak as if they're knowledgeable on a subject.

Again people don't read, how do you people know that there is a filter?
G I R the filter is within the game and not the xbox360 how else would people play some of the earlier 360 games over XBC?,
demonicsandwich there has to be a host for system link games I'm not talking about match making (I dont care about some given rank,
Veegie I too hate it when people speak as if they're knowledgeable on a subject. especially when they don't listen to the question
yamagushi if the ping filter is in play you will not be able to Host your mods globally you can play your mods all you want but if you cant play via tunneling then the only real time you can play mods is with real system link understand?
FuzzySquirel yes if there is a ping filter Gb/s fibre internet would mean we could play over tunneling
to get there and back in 30 ms so to get there in 15 ms
the speed of light = 299 792 458 m / s
0.015xC= 4 496 997 km converted to miles /10 *6 = 2 698 132 miles
circumference of the earth 24,859.82 miles (40,008 km) so yeah if there is a ping filter I'll see you on XBC in 15-20 years time
YET WHERE IS THE PROOF THAT H3 HAS A PING FILTER
