Xlink Kai -- WTF!

I downloaded the program, connected my modem to my PC through USB, connected the modem to the xbox through Rj-45 cable, and it kai says console not detected!! What is going on?! It says to set your game to 'search for games' yet, halo 2 system link doesn't even have this feature! I clicked in and the only option was to create a game!

help!!

Yea you need to leave it at the screen that says create new game. then on kai you search for console and it will find the xbox and then everything is straight.

I start up kai then when im on an orbital start my xbox - it finds it everytime!

Make sure you have a Cat6 ( or crossover) cable.
Also, you can try to login to XBL ( or just get to the subscription screen) to tell if you are connecting through the computer appropriately.

If you are going through a router you need an Ethernet cable
If you are going strait to your xbox from your computer you need a crossover cable.

It makes no difference whether either of these are Cat 5 or Cat 6.
