Sniper Contrail Problem?

I installed a modded map pack and I was quite impressed. However I am a little worried about signing back into Xbox live. My pistol is gold and my sniper trails are different. I assume this is in the cache because it is there even when my chip is off and I boot from the original dash. ? Will this get me banned or will I be OK? If it will how can I fix it?

As long as the mod chip is off, and you are not running a hacked BIOS at the time of sign in, you are fine.

NO, you are not fine! They can detect mod chips even when they're off now!

This is why everyone with a modchip has 2 xboxs, I have 2, getting a third for a modchip.

no they can't, they detect your hard drive serial number, if it has changed but your xbox's serial number is the same, then they ban you, which is why you should not log into live even untill you get yours fully modded.

Or just get a whole new xbox, it is the ONLY way to guarantee you will not be banned.

if you have nothing better to do with your money than to buy another xbox than be my guest but i think its kinda stupid. they cant detect a modchip

Yea... if its on when you sign in. My friend had it happen to him a couple times.
