The order of Steps you need to do to Make a HaloCE map?

Can anyone just tell us noobs to modding what steps we should take to learn how to mod and make a map.....
Like list them what we need to learn like for instance
-gmax
modeling-
etc
etc...
I know this is dumb...but it would really help myself out and I bet a bunch of other noobs...I just don't know where to start?
