im using 3dsmax 6 with the blitzering .jms plugin

when i go to export the map a pop up says: No geometry to export- Export failed

i need to have "geometry" in my map. WTF is geometry. i have boxes and a reference frame. i textured my map.

is that enough information for you

Do all faces have materials applied to them and is the skybox linked to the reference frame?

Im having the exact same problem. All the faces have just color applied, no texture, I just wanna see how it works first. In the video tutorial I have for this, it dosent mention linking the skybox and the refrence frame. So, how do you do that?

You need a material applied to the face for it to have its own independant shader.

LIke you mean a texture? I have to texture the whole thing before I can export? That sucks. Sigh... correct me if im wrong so I dont texture the whole thing if I dont need to.

Dude....its not that hard to texture...all you gotta do is press m, make a subobject with 2 materials, name it skybox, name the first material +sky and pick a diffuse color so you know what your looking at, name the second material the name of the texture, get the bitmap, show both materials in viewport and apply to the skybox. Thats it! Haha I got a pic of this naked fat lady on google and made it into a ground bitmap for a level I made called ifarted. Haha it was great!
