The OSS Modding Team is pleased to annouce the creation of the map Halo: The Battle for Troy. Although the map is 22% done, we are already hopeful for the creation of a completely new and unique map using the HEK. Here are the basics of the map:

-Two spawning areas
-One area will be inside a massive fort, resembling the walls of Troy. This team will be the "Trojans", attempting to stop the invasion cold.

-The second area will be the invading "Greek" team, having sand dunes to protect against enemy snipers as they make their way to the shore and attempt to plunge the hallowed heights of Troy.

-Although the map being designed for CTF and Team Slayer, we hope to extend the killing experience to all modes.

This map is expected to be completed by mid-June, if not earlier.

Give the greeks like, a wooden horse or something atleast fort-like for a base. Otherwise, the Trojans will have all the advantage.

Yeah, that was one of the factors that is the key topics that we will address, balanced gameplay. We understood that giving one team a HUGE base and another a open, hill covered beach would be one-sided, so we have limited the number of powerful weapons placed in the base, giving more to the invasion team, while balancing that by giving the fort a turret. Of course when our map is created, we will beta test it and give it to other people to see what they think.

Although we have recieved replies, we have noticed that though this post has had 50+ views, I have not gotten much feedback on the idea, so your ideas would be appreciated as well as any problems that you see that needs our attention...

New Age, I am not using 2nd person, I am speaking on behalf of a GROUP, meaning WE. And secondly, you probably checked oldschoolsoldiers.com, that's not my clan's site. That's O$$ why don't you read carefully next time before you talk, and if you visit their forums, you can see that I challenged them a while ago because we are not the same clan, they O$$, we are {OSS} and fuck no, I am not a n00b.

2nd person is when someone who is present is describing what someone does and his/her emotions. You can't refer to yourself in second person unless you really try. It's usually either third or first person.

Yes, i mean the Halo 2 MP map. Cause you will be storming a base from a beach, and it sounds like the base will be well gaurded, so it is kinda sorta but not really but in a way Zanzabarish.

i think troy came before Zanzabarish
