Devmode Problem

I am trying to use devmode in haloCE. I go to the properties of my haloCE shortcut and type, "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console -devmode for the target. I apply, then close properties. I go to open up that shortcut and the halo screen pops up. Once it is about to get to the main halo menu, I get an exception error. Anyone know what I might be doing wrong, or why it is doing this?

lol, try removing the init.txt file from HaloCE folder, dedicated server features play havoc with devmode because devmode doesn't support MP games on the Internet...well, its been turned off so you can't cheat online anyways :]

what do u mean by cheats?
