exception!

okay so i just compiled my map with tool++ and got this at the end
culling uncompressed model vertices...done
culling uncompressed structure bsp vertices...done
culling uncompressed model animation data...done
building predicted resources for structures...done
structure bsp 'levels\test\tutorial\tutorial' is 0.26M
tag headers and names are 0.17M
streaming model vertex and index buffers...done
streaming tags.....................done
writing vertex and index buffers...done 4.77M
writing tags...done (2196 tags for 4.90M)
total tag size is 5.16M (17.84M free)
compressing 11.80M...done
successfully built cache file.
Cache pack file bitmaps hits: 746 for 36.39M
Cache pack file bitmaps adds/misses: 40 for 1.87M
Cache pack file sounds hits: 648 for 12.10M
Cache pack file sounds adds/misses: 0 for 0.00M
Cache pack file loc hits: 104 for 0.22M
Cache pack file loc adds/misses: 0 for 0.00M
Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
but whenever i try to play the map it says gathering exception data. does anyone know why if so could you please help[/quote]

I'm not sure if this works, but I think you can go to:

Start>Control Panel>Windows Firewall>Exceptions. Then turn exceptions off. I'm not sure if this works, but it might. :roll:

Note: This was a joke, I was joking. :/ You cant tell when someone is being sarcastic on the net. haha, well, not without emoticons anyways.

Someone posted that crap a long time ago on HM....I don't think you were joking.

Also, this could have millions of causes....did you fuck with the globals? Also don't play CTF if there are no flags in game. Common user error.
