Server Operator Giving All Players Increased Field of View?

Before you begin reading I want you to know that I am just a simple man with a simple dream, to give his fellow man (men... people... idk) an equal chance at winning against me in Shotgun Slayer servers.

I have a confession to make: I love the Third Person/FOV Hack and cannot stop myself from using it when I play online. Unfortunately it gives me an advantage over my opponents and I always end up in first place in slayer games.

If any of you are familiar with Halo "Shotties - No Shield - No Motion Tracker", you might already know who I am.

For the noobs: FOV means Field of View. Increasing the field of view will make you see more around you like you would in real life. Halo's FOV is set by default to be too narrow I.M.O.

I used to run a Shotguns-only server in HaloPC, with the mapcycle being indoorsy levels like Chiron, Longest, Damnation, etc.

People flocked to this server, and I would beat them all because of the FOV hack I was using. I could see them out of the corner of my eye and jump over them--they would think I disappeared and would suddenly be killed. I have enjoyed running this server but have shut it down because I win unfairly and have lost interest. (Nobody accused me of using the FOV hack but rather occasionally accused me of using an auto-aim hack.)

I would like to know how I could "mod" the "maps" so that everyone in the server could have 100 degrees FOV rather than just me. I would like to play on even terms with everyone else while still enjoying the benefits of a wider field of view. I would prefer that people would just be able to access the server without having to download anything.

Is it possible for the server operator to give everyone playing regular Halo/Halo CE maps a 100 degrees field of view in either Halo PC or Halo CE? Preferably Halo CE since lag is handled better.

Thank you very much for reading and I hope the solution is easy enough or possible enough for somebody to answer. I will thank you for at least reading this and knowing the dilemma I face :( :( :(

:)

I forgot to mention that I know nothing about modding. If it cannot be explained step-by-step, well, anyways I appreciate whatever you post here even if I won't understand it.

I can't remember if the FoV is defined in the tags but if it is, just compile the map and give it to everyone playing.

There is no direct way of changing the FoV from the server to the clients in real-time without some not-worth-the-effort modifying.
