i cant find any other 3ds exept for 3ds max 9, and it wont let me do anything in it.... PLZ HELP

Ive been moding halo pc and converted to CE. when i went to go get the 3ds stuff, i downloaded 3ds max 9. and i cant find the right 3ds for halo CE

You have to export the model to use it in Halo...

I can tell you're just jumping into this and have no clue what to do and/or what you're talking about.

Please, stop any work you are doing with 3Ds Max and direct all your attention to reading. Like TomClancey said, it sounds like you have no idea what you are talking about.
Now to your question. Use the BlueStreak model exporter for the newer versions of Max. http://ghost.halomaps.org/bluestreak/jms/
But please, you'll save yourself from plenty of flaming if you just read up now before you try anything.
