Sapien Problem

Ive just started trying to mod now and I would like to be able to put AIs in my maps or gauss turrets and stuff like using sapien to do it. I have tuturials on how to do this stuff but I dont know how to open a map on sapien. If I click open map and I cant open any maps.
Can somebody tell me how to open the maps to put Ais in them using sapien or give me a link to a tuturial that shows you how to use sapien
