HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i just got CE and i was wondering how to make mapes and if i can download a map will in the game. You know like in far cry where you join the game and the map downloads then you play it.

To make maps, look at these tutorials:

The programs you need are:

3Ds max (free for 30 days, after that its a few thousand dollars) or Gmax (which is free)

And either Paintshop or Photoshop (preferably paintshop)

And if you want to play custom maps, you have to download and install them manualy. You will need winRar to extract the maps out of the archive, you can get winrar here:
