Halo CE Multiplayer Campain?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has ever made a multiplayer campaign using CE... if not, would it be possible to extract the .scenario from them, add an extra spawn point, and whatever else, compile it and have a CE, online compatable, 2 player campaingn mode... I think that would be pretty sweet, but I am also not sure how to get levels to switch automatically... we might need like a maplist thing unless it's possible in sapien to automattically switch to the next map/level... Post here what you think...

Single player maps work in MUCH different ways than multiplayer maps.
Most important of all is that NOTHING in the world of halo syncs except you, your gun, and your ride. (Bipeds [strictly, bipeds], projectiles, vehicles)
The only thing that even allows doors to sync is that, because you sync, your body syncs to the other players and opens the door.
On another note, single player maps use a different kind of 'spawn point', plus scripts. Scripts don't sync right.
Final answer:
Not possible.

lol wrong it is VERY possible >_> ask p0lar_bear his has cutscenes, music, everything. you can make a solo map just as easy as you can mp just it takes much more time an experience.
however online play is quite impossible

Hm... well would it be possible to do a third person view with a single player map and have it sort of "locked" onto two people and have to spawn points so it's similar to a RPG... I'm just exploring alternatives... it could be cool to make a coop single player map...

Like I said, you can't.
And BTW, if you couldn't make an SP map with the HEK, then we wouldn't have a single player halo.

The closest thing is to a Multiplayer Campain map is Halo Hoger's Area 52, 53, 54, 55.

Which, as he has stated, don't run on servers properly.

Well, I am not talking about online coop... I am talking about having a SP coop map with a rigged camera with a sort of over head view so you can see both players...
and weren't you working on a project for a CE campaign?

If you're talking about a multiplayer system similar to Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, then I would believe that is impossible. Camera tracks only follow one object.
And the words "Halo," "co-op," "ai," and "internet" do not fit into the same sentence. Unless you're saying "Having a co-op Halo map with AI that syncs over the internet is not possible at all."
Lightning, Seraphim, and I tried it once with d20. I, and ONLY I, exceptioned upon jumping into the hole, and half of the grunts were on our team. Plus, it looked like we were shooting at nothing half the time because the lack of AI synchronizing. Not worth the effort.

yea the only real problem is getting the ai and the rest of the level to sync with everyone...which i dont believe is possible...

Realistically no its not possible... AI dont synch... I mean, you could make a map thats meant to be played with only a blue team (or a red team) then make all the enemys or (AI) another color to be defined as enemies, as for AI on your team, I don't think this will work... Also scripting like how an sp map is wud not be possible I mean, sure you can do a few things, like cutscenes work to some extent, highly doubt they synch at all, using multiple bsps online provide NUMOROUS problems, then theres poly count limits, and lag...
Its possible to do somthing simple like a series or somthing (I know theres been some Area 51 series and stuff like that)
But like a real campaign scripted voice overs and stuff like that scripted drop ships synching online actualy delivering AI and enemies on key, no not possible, its just not realistic, you could make like somthing simple tho..

Guys you can make a campaign level AND you can change the...how are they called...grrrr......those UI thingys so you have a similar type of campaign. It is possible but it is very time consuming and not worth of the effords.
