What do i need to do to Mod bloodgulch

i would realy realy apriciate it if someone can tell me how to mod blood gulch (or any original map) with sapian/gurrilla

i know i have to extract the tags with hek+ but Im not sure what all to extract exactly... and everytime i do try to extract a tag it comes out as a .txt...... what do i do from there?

yes i have tryed search, it came up with over 2000 results, i narrowed it down, came up with over 600 results, none of which seem to be what im looking for

hmmmm i heard there is there a way to open it in hmt and sparkedit by hexing the code of it or something. But i cannot find a tutorial anywhere on it so i'm not sure what to do...

You can rip the tags from the default bloodgulch map using StellixB's HEK+ app. Open in Sapien, et voila.

However, if you mod it, name it something else besides bloodgulch.map. CE's coding doesn't allow people with two different versions of a map to play together. If you're making a whole new map, you don't need to inject it into an existing map like HPC. You can create it from scratch.

And I must advise you; bloodgulch mods are very, VERY old... If you make it, not many may play it, or even acknowledge it.

well, how exactly can i extract the tags, when i try they come out as .txt.....

and bloodgulch is just example :P

and another question, is it possible to change the size of a map withought having to remodel it?
