ubernoob help

..just made this account 5 min. ago...but anyway:
I downloaded halo CE and I can't play custom maps....I can play the normal ones ( halo PC maps) just fine-what the heck do I do to be able to play 'em?

Unrar/Unzip the .map files to your maps folder in your HaloCE directory.

The Halo CE map directory is found here, if you need it:
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps

That is the default location, anyways. You may have installed it elsewhere.

and if u want to join a a game, the filter is default to not show custom games. make sure to change that

unzip/rar them into the directory that it is installed, refilter it 4 internet play, by goin to filters, and selecting yes in "show user-created maps", and ur good

where did you download the halo custom edition and do you need a disk tyo run the download??????????????
