devcam prob

i am in devmode (NOT THE TRAINER MIND YOU) and i want to move the camera to make pics. i did the whole camera control 1 thingy and it sends the camera outside of the level. then i cant move it. i hold the middle mouse button and i use w,a,s,d to get around. it just doesnt do anything. any help?

Make sure before you do anything you type debug_camera_save.
Then when you type debug_camera_load you'll be where you are standing.

When you spawn go press ~ and type debug_camera_save and press enter. After you've done that type debug_camera_load and press enter again.

oh. when your camera is far away, it means it wasn't given a load point , so it picks a random spot far away. and the reason it didn't seem like it was moving was because it was too slow. while holding down the middlem ous button, scroll towards you and it speeds up. scrolling awayfrom you (while holding the button) slows down.
