Halo CE Says "Insert Correct Halo CD-ROM..."

Whenever I Start up Halo CE, A message pops up saying "Insert Correct Halo CD-Rom, Click OK to restart the program", Or something like that. But whenever I Start up Halo everything Works Fine... Can someone help me on this problem?

Reinstall Halo, if the problem still occurs, there is a missing file, or, make sure your CD ROM is hooked up and being read. It may be unhooked

Maybe you should give your CD a spitshine ;), take a reallly good look at it, if it has alot of scratches around the outside especially then chances are your CD is messed up. But try re-installing.

You do know that you need the regular Halo CD to play Halo CE, right?

maybe yout disk is screwed........or if you have a younger cibling they took it and drew on it with crayons......(happended b4 with me :cry: )

Dude! This is like your fifth bump today! Well, I suppose you didn't know considering how new you are. Let me tell you now. A bump is a generic term for when someone, usually new to the forums, replies to an older topic. We get the word bump from this because the reply bumps the thread up in the forum, because all of the threads are organized by date.
