HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

hi all

i saw on the halomods site some mod to get halo ce maps on halo pc. i wanted to download it but the only ling there was (macdev) was a dead link. i need to get that program because nobody join my server on ce. can somebody telle me an other site to get the program?

Um...sorry...you can't get them in PC properly wtihout tools, plus it's kinds lame...

No one joins your servers?

Check your ports or something, it may not be appearing. People seem to join mine perfectly fine...you might be hosting a really old map no one really has or something.

Thanks for at least looking into it....I am one of the few people who were at MacDev when 2 Halo:CE maps were ported to Mac at that time (Quagmire and NMC). Quagmire worked, but it lagged a lot and there was a vehicle glitch, but now everyone knows about NMC.

Sadly, nobody knows how to convert Custom Edition maps to Macs or PCs. But soon, hopefully, there will be no reason to, because CE is already out for PC. (I strongly suggest that you download it and join the community, they're more educated than the HPC community) But, the problem is that Macs don't have CE yet, but we *will* have it, it's just unclear when. I hope we get the Editing Kit as well.

ya this is why CE failed in the long run, 2 dif halos (one that u had to dl) it would be better if u could just have them on PC but sadly no
