Graphics card question

my card works fine, but i dont know what kind it is, and my dad doesn't remeber, and i have freind overseas who iwant to be able to have games with, but HIS card sux. what card would u recommend? how much, about, does it cost?

right click your desktop, go to properties, then go to settings. from there, you need to look at what's directly under "display".

what card would i recommend? i'd say GeForce 6800 ultra, or Radeon 800XT (i think those are the correct names)
