HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I just downloaded Halo CE from www.downloads.com. I was having trouble downloading it (24 hours... internet dieing spontaniously) so i got Internet Download Manager (from downloads also). It downloaded but I cannot open the setup. Did anyone else have this problem or is there a simple solution that I just dont know. Thanks for any help.

strange, u tried winrar? or winzip?

is it a .exe file?

maybe your computer has a virus it just never loads until you turn it off then it loads that happended to me once or your computer is too slow

or he dld the wrong file or cant unzip/unrar it

what file type is it, and did you make sure it completed downloading without error?

have win rar?

It is most likely saved in .zip or .rar format. Download WinRAR, you can find it in the Utilities section of the Files Forum. WHen that is installed you can open .zip and .rar files with ease. Inside there will be the Installation program. You know what to do from there

Sorry for the slow reply I have been sick for a couple days and not able to see strait. Yes, I have WinRar and it's not downloading in any zipped form. When it comes out it is not .exe and on one of the dl's I tried just adding .exe to the end of the file name, that didn't work... It downloaded without telling me there were any errors, but thats not the same as there not being any errors. I know I need a faster internet but I am out in the Missouri sticks and can't get any wireless and my hands seem to be tied on other forms too. My computer will load other install-type programs, so I think the download manager I have was just not putting it together right. So I dunno, I think maybe I'm just screwed unless I can find Halo CE on a disk somewhere. A POX ON DIAL-UP!

try to get it at halomaps.org
i downloaded it sumwhere else and got a file wich wasnt a file
there was no extension
if i opened it it showed lotsa crap
just get it at halomaps

ok, 1 i dled halo ce from www.download.com , ages ago, and it worked, and secondly, try using fresh download, www.freshdevices.com , thirdly, about those links on gbx half of then dont work anymore, fourthly, im the original Dragon (see registry date) i just dont post alot
