Server Message?

I searched all over this place and googled it, but cant find the answer to my question.
How do i add a server message, so that when people join, they see the message when they press F2?

You need to have a dedicated server on Haloce. And make the motd.txt file with what you want

i do have a dedicated server on ce, so i make a text file called "motd.txt" and put what i want in there?

ok, u dont need a ded server for a server message
just create a .txt file with what u want ur message to say, and put it in ur halo ce directory, then start ur server,and type in the console sv_motd <ur textfile name>.txt
