how do i install the new maps

i read the faq and it said something about a ppf but none of my files have those they just have a .map file.....i tried to just put that into the map folder on my xbox hdd and it wont show up the games on the multiplayer screen like its supposed to......

ppf files r for halo pc, u need ppfomatic or hhht to apply ppf file, but for halo ce, just stick the .map file in the halo ce map folder, and it will work

i tried that but it still wont work...it wont show up in the game
