Would you happen to be using a crack of Halo CE?

It's some kind of error i had this error before and I fxed it somehow, but I can't figure out how did it- my little brother did something and messed it up, so I had to re-download it, and it can't get a connection.

your having internet problems
to fix it if u have a cable model or "surfboard"
1.turn off your comp
2.unplug the power from the back of the SB
3.un plug the network cable (phone cable looking one)
4.wait 40 secs
5.plug back in network cable
6plug back in power
7.turn on comp
8try again it should work i have had the same error

Ok, i've have been a witness to this halo CE and PC problem that gamespy has had recently.

1. I've tested WITH and WITHOUT ROUTER,
2. I've tested WITH and WITHOUT hub
3. I've tested CABLe and ADSL
4. Still no luck when it's down, cause if it's down, IT IS DOWN, PERIOD. in other words, "no halo online" for us geeks and nerds for the next while!

But it's only a temp downage dudes (that's what I know so far)

I disabled all firewalls, router included, heck, i've had it work with the router firewall "set properly" and my own zone alarm pro as well. Funny thing is, the hosting worked fine, the gaming was stable and fine to, but suddenly I had about 2days without it, and had various colleagues ALSO out and offline halo. I'm not talking the same service provider, I mean several service providers accross the states couldn't connect during that time. So, it was a gamespy error I presume, especially since we eliminated all of the "local" problems easily.

It works now, that i'm happy for.
