Halo PC/CE running slow.

When I used to play Halo on my Nvidia 7300GT everything ran perfectly. When I switched to my Nvidia 8800GT Halo runs very slow and laggy. Anyone know of the issue, and if there's a way to fix it?

Here's the thread.

(1) Open D3DWindower
(2) Add Halo.exe with the + button.
(3) Close D3DWindower - Important!
(4) Open D3DWindower again.
(5) Click on Halo
(6) Click on the computer icon.

If you don't know what D3DWindower is, then I'd search through the thread for more information, or do some research, because I don't know what it is, either.

Thanks for all the quick reply's, but I found out the actual issue. When You have more than 2GBs of RAM on a x64 Machine, Halo(and some other games) come up with an error of 0MB of ram available. I've seen fixes for it regarded editing DLL's of other games but none on Halo. One fix is to run it in Windows 95 Compatibility but Halo then refuses to run. So if anyone has any insight it would be much appreciated.

Hence why I said I was running 64 bit. 32 bit Windows Vista doesn't have a problem.
