sorry to burst your bubble, but those arent ai. ai have to have search paths layed out for them to roam/patrol. those are simply bipeds that are as souless as charchoal. you made as the projectiles, so what. that isnt new. look at what i can do????:

so fuckin what, THEY HAVE NO AI SO DONT FALSE ADVERTISE. the standard biped will react to being hit, they will also die too. they are by all definitions alive, except in the head. they wont go anywhere.

not really. it isnt that hard. its called you make an emiter like a waterfall emitter emit masterchiefs instead of water. or something alonh the lines of that. i dont know. nothing in hek is really that hard.

yeah thats what i am trying to get at, i knwo they are bipeds, i got em running aourd following waypoints in sapien but when i get em coompiled 1 or 2 will do it then the all will stop, i can spawn 1 biped per sec :0 no vehicles nothing else, it adds a physical spawn point for each biped, i had up to 768 AI's wich sapien gave wa wrning at wich is the maximum according to sapien anyways.

edit: not trying to say its hard or anything just that it is possible and that anyone can do it, its all right there just turn it all on. Theres a spawnable actor tag for the biped (spawned actor), and you can create an actor variant and actor file from scratch, it will require a lot of tweaking ot get em as aggressive as those in the game, but its just a matter of setting em with the right fire delays, scans, defending options, and what not, this was just to sho wyou can make em spawn from a disticnt spawn point of thier own. Not an emiiter from a water fall, these are true spawned bipeds. Woudl put up a video but will take all night to upload it so heres one more screenshot from sapien shwoing some of the tree breakdowns.

ive got a group of em following a firing point. its cool. i started to do this shit about 2 days ago. all you really have to do is create new stuff and set your own attributes which is a bitch though. there are really like 1000 of em to set. i never knew that the AI was this complex. you literally can make every enemy totally different if you want. yet another reason why halo is the best game ever.

all you have to do is make a custom set actor variant and actor file with guerilla, setup a level, add the actor variant in under actor pallets, add the cyborg <for a model for the AI> under biped pallets, then locate the second instance of player start positions, add how ever many you want. After that you just have to follow teh steps under squad and setup a squad and commands, set thier teams, load up the scenario in sapien, place you objetcs, start points for the AI, setup firing positions and lay out your command follow strucutre <pauses, scans, sleep, patrol> youll need to flip through all the tags pages for all this info, but its there an dpretty easy to realize what it does after you add it, it woudl take a few days to right a proper tut so here is some idea of where to look i guess.

its really neat how everything is so interactive in sapien. literally, you change a setting and they carry out the orders. sapien is probably one of the best level populators i have seen yet. now my question is how do we get our platoons to fight the opposing teams including the players. i know this is all do able. look at single player: you have your marines that fight with you and the coveneant and the flood and the sentinal that are against you. well the sentials are a friend for a while.
