Yes you're able to shoot with the laser on. It can be pretty useful actually. I tested it out on timberland against some ai and it can help you can a more precise shot sometimes. The only thing I need now is someone to help me out with changing the color of the laser because I don't know how to change skins in CE. Any help would be really appreciated =)

well im still not working on the laser cause im been very bsy on other things such as trying to make tanks, a portibal minigun, and a few other things. however i keep getting geometry errors and i cant find them.
anyway my friend told me how he found that some1 figuered out how to make a lasersight and it ended up being u. good job on all of it. i look at the beta however it seemes u could program it to be better. i havent tried them in a map actually yet but this should help.
in the firing section: make ur rate of fire for it Alot less (maby 30-75). change the acceleration time and deceleration time to 0. change the rounds per shot to 0 which will make it infinite ammo. make the rounds between tracers 0 which will let u have less ROF and better appearence.
also delete the secondary magazine since its not being used anyway. u can try and mess around with the functions areas to make it where the secondary trigger activates instead of the flashlight and then u can use ur grenades again. if u cant figuer that out, in the triggers section, check the box saying 'locks in on\off state'. the box under it saying 'projectiles uses weapons origins' might help but im not sure if its for making the 3rd person view better or what.

Thanks for the tips but I tried it with "lock in/off state" and "projectiles use weapon origins" but the locking one causes the laser to stay lit even after you switch weapons and it stays in one place. The weapon origins flag makes it look a little better but it only helps if the chief doesnt fire from the camera
