Help with 3ds Max Display Issues

Post by Mo Honna »

Well, I desparetly need help fixing an odd error in 3ds Max, so Im going to post a picture of one of the models Ive been working on. Zelda fans try not to wet yourselves.

Alright, do not worry about the slightly screwy face textures, that will be fixed, I want you guys to compare the face, hands, and sword in both pictures. Notice how in the first picture, Diety Link's sword is almost completely missing around his stomach area, and notice around his face, the big, light blue blob? That is suppose to be the back of his cap, WHY is everything appearing so messed up? Look at the second picture, it was taken when I pressed F9, and it came out normal. Notice how Link holds the sword correctly, and everything is in place? This is not just a problem with the sword, hands, and face, its a problem Ive been having with imported VRML's since I wiped my computer about 5 - 6 weeks ago, and it never did this before. Could it be a driver error? I would also like to note that as of now, Im just messing around with the idea of a Deity Link Biped, and I dont just mean retexturing Jahrains Link with Deity Link textures, I want to try and get animations as close to Link's as possible. I have several Majora's Mask maps for HCE that need texturing, but, its hard to do with this display error. Any and all help is appreciated. Thanks.
