Tool.exe not working.

Tool.exe doesnt work... for anything. If i try to open it or run it through a .bat file, it just closes, and doesn't even do the command. This is stopping me from making a map, and making BSPs and Bitmaps... grrrr. Help?

I'm pretty sure you use the command prompt to start Tool.

load command prompt (start > All programs > accesories >command prompt

type in cd C:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition

then type tool command here and hit enter (so for example tool build-cache-level levels\test\map\map)

Okay, I tried using one of those Apps that help you with tool, the .map got made, but Halo crashed when I tried to load it, I think my UIes messed up, becuse I didn't even load up the map, it just gave me an exception.

cool. i can finnaly get that mod of death island ive been w8ing so long to compile but never did. stupid tool...
if u go to halomaps.org it should be there soon as soon as i compile and upload and bla bla bla.
