ok i was playing in the dark gift public server and i tried to talk and when i typed in the chat box nothing appeard. wtf??!!? and then i killed some 1 with sniper and it didnt say u killed bob.

Go to C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\redist

Then run msxmlenu.msi

I think you run that, then go into halo and you should see text again.
