Halo CE Error

I need some help:

I have Halo Custom Edition, and I put in the CD key, but it tells me to insert the correct CD. Some people have told me I need a actual CD in the drive to play Halo CE. Anybody can help me with this?

you have to have halo pc installed.

yes. You need halo PC and the Halo PC product key that is on the jacket of your CD cover. Beleive me. I tried. LOL

...you need halo pc installed to play halo ce? i play halo ce without halo pc installed, i didnt install it cause its to boring, so i just installed ce, if you are talking about that you need a cd to play ce, then yes, you need one, you need a cd to play pc to.
