i need professional help!!

ok so i was downloadin some maps from www.FCCLAN.com.
i put them in my halo CE maps files and went to play in them.
they were in my map list and i pressed it but then it said gathering acception data and tottaly exited halo.no when i click the halo CE icon it lets me play but when im ni there the text is all weird and i can't see explosions.

please help me, thanks a bunch.

u cant see ur bullets too, and do u get a = instead of a ?.....
just restart it, and with the text: hit ctrl+shift
