Following Kirk's tutorials, when i do the command
tool bitmaps <my directory> to change the .tif to a .bitmap,
it gives the error
"WARNING: bitmap with greater than 1-bit alpha being compressed as DXT1" and it fails to create a new tag.
The tutorial then goes to say to open it in Guerilla and change things, etc...
Now, I can't open the .tif in Guerilla (following the tutorial) because i keep getting this error message:
" you need to set your working directory. "
How do I fix this? Thank you for your help.
Guerilla problems; can't open tifs

Sounds like it spit out a .bitmap that's messed up.helljumper2 wrote: The tutorial then goes to say to open it in Guerilla and change things, etc...
Get rid of the alpha (unless you need it) and try it again.
