just question:

what sahder do I create for my ladder? is it shader_environment too?

I dont htink you should have to create a shader for the ladder... ive never created one, so im probably wrong, but i was under the impression that all you had to do was make the name of the material something like: ladder^

if you had the "^" then i thought that you would be done. but if not then i would definatley do it just like another shader ont he ground since environment_shaders are usually meant for things in the BSP.

again, im probably wrong about all of this,, im just trying to reason...

id like to know also if what i said was wrong.

No thats right, also, ladder creation can be found in the Halo tutorial, at the end of 'level creation part 2' if you're still stuck.

Damn, I read that HEK tutorial for the first time t'other day (rofl), and yeh, its quite helpful... Mind u, Im'a kinda guy who doesnt bother reading instruction manuals for stuff muuhaha
