install erro

ok ive beeen modding halo 3 for a while but its kinda gotten boirng..
i want to use hek w/ halo ce (wich i spent a week getting working)
but when i try to install it it says it cannot find halo ce (i do have it installed)
is it becaouse i have shitty vista? is there a working version for vista?
can you provide a download link?
plz help

dude, vista doesnt fuck anything up you noob.
Run it as an administrator, If that doesn't work, say so.

First off, not go to off topic, but you could only mod halo 3 for about, a month or whatever. Secondly, how is it working if i ts not installed?

me and my friend share a working con resighner soo...
also teh problem i am having is when i try to install it says it cannot locate halo ce (wich i have).
and yes i have run it as administrator..nothing

Why do you need to install halo ce when you already have it? Cause if it can't locate it, I assume that its on yoru harddrive.

LOL , make sure you don't use some sort of registry cleaner until you install halo ce and hek.Anyway try reinstalling Halo CE on a different place , and then retry installing HEK.This happened to me once but I found a solution myself.

HALO CE must be installed in the default directory. problem solved.

It's no problem, I've run into that error a couple times, I knew exactly what was wrong when I saw that. Most people here are glad to help you, as long as you dont annoy people and break rules.
