My 3rd Tool Problem

When ever I use tool it say Couldn't read map file './toolbeta.map'
I reinstalled HEK and it still says that. Am I doing something wrong.

it goes that someone sead it was a glitch and it was soposto do that and if u are compileing it to a .map file it will be in ur halo custom edit maps derectory i asked the same qusetion

Now when I use tool or Hekter and try to build the bitmap tag i get this
> tool.exe bitmap C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\data\levels\rocky\bitmaps

usage: tool.exe verb <options..>
bitmap source-file

bitmap source-file
pluralize bitmap and tool should already be in the haloce root directory so all you SHOULD have to type, if you did a default install and haven't moved any files around, is:

tool bitmaps levels\rocky\bitmaps

Everything is in the HaloCE Directory and I still get the same error

Another Problem now that I get is when I am building the structure file, I got through most of the video tut and I get these errors

u most likely messed up in 3dsmax because it says errors in geometry

i would personally use hekter a lot easier than tool.exe

Hmm, it might mean that there are open edges? Use common sense people.

lol, u DID mess up in 3dsmax, u have to double check ur model and try to compile again afterwards

to check ur model select all the faces that you want to check them pick the STLcheck modifier tab

you figure it out from there, it isnt hard.

(if you get a shit loas of errors all around the outside, make sure that the top the the original sky box is there, i got this error and finally found out that it was missing)
