OK, so I'm back to modding Halo CE, and I can't remember what checks to have on in HEK+. I've included a screenshot.

Thanks for any help!

That's HEK+? :?
You might've been gone for awhile then.
Here's the newest version I found and use.

I would just check off *including what you already have* "use original folder names".

Whenever I try to open the .scenario file, sapien just closes. I'm using this directory C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\tags to extract, extracting longest.map from C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps , and extracting all the files.

Go into tool and try to build the map, if you have missing tags it will tell you. You can then open the scenario in Guerilla and remove the paths to the tags you do not have. Also if it is the lightmap that is messed up delete it remove the path from the bsp in Guerilla and create a new lightmap. The map should then open in Sapien.

Tool wouldn't tell you if you were missing tags such as weapons, scenery?, vehicles, everything other then the BSP and scenario.

If you try to build the map with missing weapons, scenery etc... it makes references to them in the error message before it fails. I am talking about building the map file. It will not give you exactly what is wrong with the tag (like missing model, bitmaps, animations, etc...) but you should get a pretty good idea from it.

Well if it references them in the scenario ofcourse you I'll have to have the tags without a whoop error.

Exactly what I was talking about, all those things are referenced in the scenario which can be edited in Guerilla, removing the tags you do not have. After fixing or deleting tags you can then open the map in Sapien.
