HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

I know this has probably been covered a million times, but my search turned up too many bad results. Is there a program like sparkedit for custom edition. I dont want to build/rebuild a map. I just want to add teleporters, change where weapon spawns are, and if possible change which vehicles and weapons are spawned. I know how to do this on regular pc w/ sparkedit. Thanks in advance.

It comes with HEK, which you are supposed to download

I guess I will have to find a good tutorial for sapien. When I open it, it asks for a scenario tag. The only scenario tag i find is for the the tutorial.scenario and i cant figure out how to do anything but move around in there.

If you want to edit existing maps you need to get HMT from this site's utilities section. Just open up a map to your liking, select all the tags and extract them to the tags folder of ce.

If done correctly the scenario file should be found in the correct map.

u cant use HMT in CE. also it would only try to extract meta files instead of tag files. meta files are only for original Halo.

instead find Halo Editing Kit Plus. no its not like HEK tho u still need HEK. HEK+ lets you extract files from CE maps to use in HEK.
