ground skin help

ground skin help

Hi I am making a new beach skin for deathisland and once I convert it it a .bitmap tag its fine. Then I open sapien and I can see the skin then I build the map and the skin is not there. I don't know what's wrong.

As far as I know, the file HAS to be a dds. format. I hear that people use photoshop and paintshop, but when i use it to make skins for halo, it says that the dds. file i selected was not supported, or corrupted. Also, if you convert a regular bmp. to a dds.1, it wont work. Dont ask me anything else, thats all i know. sorry...

I believe the problem is shaders. And they have to be tiff Night mare...
