tool lightmaps

i use tool to make my radiosity lightmaps, and it works sucessfully, but the maps are always too dark... what numbers am i supposed to type in for the command? i normally do it in this order

"tool lightmaps levels\mapname\mapname 0 0 0.9"

i figure one of the numbers im putting in is making it darker than it should, any words of wisdom?
