First post, and discussion of the tools

Yay me, first post....
I also wanted to discuss something...I noticed in the screens of the various tools one window had options for items in the maps to be available on easy, hard etc, yet gearbox have not said that it is SP compatible, as Halo CE would be MP, as the screens for CE show no SP option on the main menu, whaddya think about this? It's quite confusing...I think a lot of people would eventually love an update to the HEK so that people can setup SP missions, it would expand the life of the game ten fold!

Actually i had the first post, (im not braggin) I think that the HEK is for MP only

yea i was thinkin that bein able to make SP levels will be extremely fun...and challenging

Maybe you can make SP things, but it's currently MP only...

I though it is for SP and MP ,in the tutorial there are AI and it says only for single player. I hope you can make your own SP maps and mission.There is also a BSP linker, maybee we can make single player maps and missions.

bsp linker huh? hmmmmm...... mabye we could take the bsps(since u cqan't do the map) of say bg and timberland and link them by teles. and have each one be a base

Not forgetting we can create our BSPs, so we could make replica or remixed versions of the original maps lol

couldnt we still change the mission objectives with saipen? but ya making new sp maps would rule.(kinda)

That would probably involve changing the triggers, creating new cutscenes, new objects that are triggered by events, etc...if its for MP, not much of that is going to be available...

ya true. but we dont know that much about hek besides the pics and what they tell us. unless i missed or overlooked somthing, who knows all that we can do. cause i know that dont.
