are there any plans for a 3ds max 6 plugin?

As far as I know, there is no support for 3dsmax 6, but older versions are supported (3, 4 and 5.1 i think).
In addition, there is not going to be a gmax plugin because it was way too expensive to license it. However, some people may be trying to figure out a way around this by writing a md3 converter, or by converting several times.

Yea... $80,000 for a license to release a plugin for a free 3d Modeling program.

i meant an unofficial kinda deal type thingy...whatever. anyways, whats an md3 converter?

YES!!!!! now n00bs will probibly go to the PC modding general and not notice this category! w00t! FREEDOM! but... hopefully there isnt a "smart" n00b that figures out that this is here... we should enjoy it while it lasts.
