How would I go about locating these open edges and fixing them?

Open your map and go File - import then go to your Halo custom Edition folder and import "(mapname).wrl". Then uncheck "reset scene" so you can see your map too.

Isn't the wrl a gimp file? Cause I have 3ds max 7.

I have 3ds Max 4.2 and it works for me. I think the importer comes with blitzkrieg.

Oh, well I don't have any wrl files, all I have is my .jms export and my origonal map model.

Nope its a type of 3d mesh file. With your maps loaded goto import> then the Halo CE root directory then its your map's name.wrl. To import you will have to change the file type at the bottom.

You have to load your level silly. then import the wrl file, make sure it doesn't do anything to the coordinates (from what I see I think it transformed them to max coordinates) and make sure it doesn't overwrite your scene.

Cool, thanks guys :)

One small question, how exactly would I fix these?

What I do is look at the verts, make sure they aren't duplicated for some reason, and weld them if there are two in a place that there is only supposed to be one. With open edge errors, well just close the edges.

I hate being a noob but I'm still unclear, some of these are kind of invisible and I don't really know whats going on with them so I can't really fix them, in fact, theres only 1 open edge that I can clearly see that its there.
