In 3ds max if I try to export a model, I can not choose to export it in the .JMO format. Is there an explanation for this?

Your supposed to save it as a JMS. Make sure you have blitzkrieg or the ghosts exporters do make it into the JMS file.

I dont use Blitzkrieg because you have to put stuff in your system files...so ill tell you how to use the Ghosts JMS Exporter if you plan to use it instead.

Open up the page, and on the bottom of a picture it will say "Script" as a link. You will get some random gibberish. Copy and paste ALL of it into notepad and save it as a .txt file. When you go to export in 3ds max, go to MaxScript, then "Run Script". Go to where you saved your .txt file. It wont be there. On the bottom of the open box there will be a dropdown box, open it up and click .txt. Your exporter script will show up. Open it.

Happy Exporting!! :P

With blitzkrieg all you have to do is copy the file into your 3ds max Plugins folder. Then in 3ds Max go File - Export and save it as a JMS or JMA.
And ghost exporter cant do animations either can it?
