How Does Tool Work

I am making a level. I just exported my Gmax map as a JMS and now I'm on the step where you work with tool. The tutorial says to open up the HaloCE Root Directory in Tool but I have no idea how or what that means. Can someone give me a quick, in-depth overview of how to use tool?

You can't double click tool.exe.You have to acces it with ms-dos(or command promt).Go to start>run type in cmd.Now a black window should appear.Thats the command promt.
Well how do i navigate it now to my HAloCE dir?
Easy the easiest thing to do is to search for cmd.exe on your computer and copy it into your HaloCe folder and lunch it.Its uasually somehwere in Windows/system32 folder.
IN the HaloCE folder you just have to type tool and you can acces it.

If you are lazy get Tool++ from Kornman
