where can i dl tool.exe

It comes with the HEK, and it is used to make custom levels in Halo CE. When you open it, you can't just double click on it. You have to open up cmd.exe (command prompt) and open it from there. Put a copy of cmd into your halo CE root directory so you don't have to retype the directory everytime you reastart it.

thanks but i know its supposed to. i already have hek , but it didnt come with tool, or at least it isnt under start-all programs-microsoft games-halo custom edition

ummm.....
To use tool, you need to go into the command prompt, (All Progs, Accessories, Command Prompt), navigate to your Halo Custom Edition directory using the "cd" (change directory) command, and then type tool and hit enter. If you don't like using the command prompt, there is a more user friendly version called "Tool++" that you could download. I can't remember the link offhand; try googling it.
