HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

well i was on tool i was using bitmaps source directory and it said

usage: C:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition\tool.exe verb <options..> bitmap source file
couldn't read map file'./toolbeta.map'

and it sat there did nothing..........for 5 minutes and still does nothing............. just sitting there it didn't even load anything........HELP!

Okay. Pretend your map name is 'hippies' and your bitmap name is 'hippies_ground'. To get the bitmap you would type:

tool bitmaps levels\hippies\bitmaps

if that didn't help in any way, i could send you my mini vid on how to do all that tool crap

that is exactly what its doing for me.... so stupid but then i put the bitmaps in the data folder and it told me bitmaps created successfully, but i went to the folder and there was nothing there..... just my original tiff

Look, the bitmap gets made in the "tags" folder, not the "data" folder! You're looking in the wrong place!

duh.... u really think im that stupid... (actually i am) but tool is still not doing anything for my models
