i have finished this map and when i do tool build-cache-file it wont work this is there error i get how do i fix it or what should i do with the bitmap

i think that means that the bitmap's dimensions are not a power of 4

example: 256x256, 512x512, 1024x1024, etc

ok how do i make it a power of 4

open up that bitmap tag. look at what the bitmap is in guerilla. it might be glitchy or something. try recompiling that bitmap tag. or maybe u have a shader that needs a bitmap? idk prolly not...

[edit] whoa.... we all replied in like 2 mins... but i dont think its the power of 2 thing. that usually comes up right when u try to make the bitmap tag

opening it up in photoshop blah blah blah

then going to scale or something

no it has no apha channel how would i add that?

can anyone help me this is all i have to do then i can put out my map its so close to done

hmm more details would help. or u could send me the shader and bitmap tags. but i need to know:

what kind of shader is this
is the bitmap supposed to have an alpha map
does it have the alpha map in guerilla working

yea stuff like thatbut to make an alpha map... in photoshop click the quick mask button at the bottom of the tool bar thing to start editing the alpha map. im still trying to master it, so just try doing different things to it

did you scale it down using what i said?

yeah i read about it i had to make it a power of 2 so i made it all 512 so it works now thanks for ur help
