that was awesome... the only thing that i am slightly confused with is where to put the delimiter tags... (i saw that you had them under the cyborg_mp folder in tags...) and what do u mean when you says... ..."and make sure that you open the tags up in guerilla and make sure they point to the right directory..." if you could explain that in a little more detail i would be greatful... because wen i check to makke sure my bots arent "retarded" lol, nothing happens and all i see are the spawn points and move positions...

Put them in your cyborg_mp folder if you wish, then open them in your guerrila. Then make sure that the dependencys are correct.HMC Helljumper wrote:that was awesome... the only thing that i am slightly confused with is where to put the delimiter tags... Good job on the tut, but I have a few problems with the actor and actor variants. I dont really think Aztec thought out his consequenses when putting in values in the various forms. For example, he put a value of 10 world units for the maximum cover finding distance. I dont think there will be much cover for the bot in a radius about the size of MC's foot
Another blooper in the actor variant tag was when he put the maximum firing distance as 500 units for his sniper rifle. I dont think anyone is going to get hit from the distance of about 3 tanks
. So I am making AI from scratch

That is an error you get when you have a fuxxed up .scenario tag file.SargeDavid wrote:good job.i whant to make ai now.1 problem is that i cant get sapien to work right.it opens after u pick the tag but 5 sec's later it closes.cant figure it out.i think its my video card"nvidia tnt2"but others are having the same prob so it might not be that.but thanks now my dream level is going to be a reality some day.

Yeah, uhm... based on your post, I come to believe you only opened the tags in Guer and didn't play with them in game. An actual world unit is quite large, and these bots work perfectly in every map I've tested them in. So next time, please try them in game before assuming.
Here's a nice visual aid:
What you saw:

The right way:

So now you can clearly see that jumping to conclusions is wrong and kills children.
