destructible building/vehicles

Instead of having the entire bunker blowup/disappear you should make the bunker sectional. That way only the section you are firing at or ramming or whatever would be destroyed. More work, but the effect would be sweet.

HOLY shootsies... IT WORKED

thanx for the help Axeman, Ill give you credit were credit is due when my map comes out (and you'll get most of it for the destructable bunkers/other things)

Well if you want some breakable glass with my custom effect tag then keep an eye out for my post on it (coming as soon as I upload it), you may find that your object creates no debris when you shoot it and it just dissapears, well I will post a tutorial on how to make destructable scenery and effect tags soon. :wink:

o it makes debris.... *cough*wraithdestroyedeffect*cough* lol. I justt put it in as a temporary sub.

um ok.... i have effect in, but they appear to be happening in a different part of the map

When i kill my bunker some debris comes out a little to the right of it, the sound is very faint (probably far away), and the lights and .damage_effect i put in do not happen. One person i tested with said he saw the light as a little white dot in the corner of the screen. Anyways i need to get my effects happening where the actual bunker is.

Does anyone know which quality i activate?

also what are velocity bounds and those similar options?

An easy way of getting on top of levels is bring a hog in a cave or tunnel stand on it aand do the plasma nade and rocket combo. the warthog will hit u through celing like a glitch

u can do it basically anywhere in those tunnels, but you will lose ALOT of hp. dense ceiling i guess lol
